Wowpen Joy mouse is designed to be used with the right hand only and is held in a handshake style. The ergonomic design promises to put no stress on the wrist. The design allows the arm to extend out away from the body in a more natural posture and allows the hand to rest along the bottom of the palm in a thumbs-up position. The hand position used for the mouse helps to relieve carpal tunnel strain, reduce fatigue, and increase productivity.

The left and right mouse buttons are located where the fingertips rest naturally making click or drag actions natural. A scroll button is located under the thumb.
